How to play
Everything that decides your score — squad, deadline, transfers, boosters.
Every round locks at the tip-off of its first game. Bring in a new player after that and they'll start scoring for you next round instead.
Two moves stay free even after the lock, right up until that player takes the floor: swapping a bench player into your five, and changing your captain.
One booster per round, and each one can be played once per season segment — first half, second half, playoffs.
Every starter earns off their real box score, so all-around nights beat empty buckets.
| Stat | Earns |
|---|---|
| Points | 1 per 3 scored |
| Rebounds | 1 per 2 boards |
| Assists | 1 each |
| Steals | 2 each |
| Blocks | 3 each |
| Personal fouls | −1 each |
Only your five starters score, unless you play Bench Boost. Your coach earns their real team's point difference that round — so a blowout loss can pull you backwards.
Still curious
Nothing. Fantasy LBL is free to download and free to play for the whole season — you're playing for bragging rights, not a paywall.
Absolutely — plenty of managers start knowing two or three names. The app shows you who's in form, who's cheap, and who just went off for 30, so you learn the league by playing it. Some of the best picks are players nobody's heard of yet.
Create a league and you'll get a 6-digit code. Send it to whoever you want — friends, cousins, the group chat, your coworkers — and everyone who joins gets ranked against each other on your own private table. You can be in as many leagues as you like with the same squad.
A couple of minutes a week. Set your team before the deadline and you're done — or obsess over every matchup and price change if that's more your speed. Both kinds of manager win leagues.
All-rounders. A guard who scores 20 but does nothing else can get out-pointed by a big man with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks. Steals and blocks are worth a lot, and fouls quietly cost you — so minutes and discipline matter as much as raw scoring.
Your captain scores double, so back the starter with the highest ceiling that round — usually a star with a soft matchup. It's the single biggest swing in your week, and the fastest way to jump your friends on the table.
Not at all. Jump in whenever — and there's a Second Chance table that only counts points from mid-season onward, so late arrivals are competing on level ground instead of chasing a lead they never had a shot at.
